rCE-Powerpack®

The rCE-Powerpack® was engineered by the Swiss logistics company railCare AG. The modular system of the rCE-Powerpack® works on the same principle as the SWS-PowerBox® and provides kinetic energy to the refrigerated container wagons.

Compared to the SWS-PowerBox®, the rCE-Powerpack® has an adapter frame that is installed on the freight wagon. This makes the range of application slightly less comprehensive. The remaining features are similar, using kinetic energy and state-of-the-art battery technology to supply the refrigeration units with energy. It also has a monitoring and control system.
